Israel has shifted from “raids-and-withdraw” to a clear-and-hold campaign designed to uproot Hamas once and for all—and the tempo has spiked. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have now announced a plan to seize control of 75% of Gaza within the next two months, compressing Hamas into ever-shrinking pockets. Every standing infantry and armored brigade—Golani, Paratroopers, Givati, Commando, Kfir, Nahal, along with the 7th, 188th, and 401st armored brigades—is currently engaged in Gaza, with more than five full divisions operating in tandem. This full-scale commitment marks one of the most intense phases of the war since October 7.
